  • After SS 5 - Budinjak 1

Fontana/Cassaza crew had the best time in the fifth special stage but in the overall ranking they are second at the moment. After the first three laps today the Polish crew is the best. Isik and Ozsenler are second and are 17.9 seconds behind the first crew. Croatian crew, Šebalj and Klinc, are in the fourth place at the moment with 29.3 seconds difference in time from the leaders. The fourth place in current ranking is taken by the slovenien team Kaučić/Zorenč.

Due to tehnical problems with the vehicle Croatian teams Pigl/Meznarić driving Peugeot 306 and Drndić/Hrvatin driving Renault Clio, retired from the road on the fourth special stage. Hungarians Pénzes and Thurzó in Suzuki Ignis S1600 retired from the road for the same reason.  Pletka and Novak, the Czech team got off the road.

Isik: Not bad, but it could be better. The road is quite slippery.

Fontana: I am not too happy. We had some problems with the tires and the road is slippery , but I think we can do better!

Sebalj: I am not pleased. I have to fix two things: my car and myself.

Doncev: Everything is OK. I like the special stages and I am pleased with the result.

Kaucic: We started very well but we got a littlebit sleepy on the fourth special stage. We will change the suspension and try to do even better.

Cibej: I am not pleased now and I am not going to be because this rally is to hard for me concidering its my first race in the championship.

Postružin: Never better. We are very happy.


  • After SS 8 - Budinjak 2

Italians Fontana and Casazza where the fastest crew in the last stage before the superspecial stage Bundek and with 21.5 seconds advantage they also took the leading positing in overall ranking. Second place in overall ranking belongs to Polish crew Solowow/Baran with 11.5 seconds gap while Isik and Ozsenler, Turkish crew took the third place in special stage 8 as well as the third place in overall ranking. The fastest Croatian crew on Budinjak with 31,7 seconds gap after the leading Italians were again Sebalj and Klinc who took the forth place.

Two crews retired cause of technical problems Croatians Cavor/Zmegac and Slovenians Jerman/Tonejc while another Croatian crew Koraca/Mocibob got off the road.

The third day of the INA Croatia delta rally has started at 8:49 am. Poles Solowow and Baran were the fastest crew in the tenth special stage and the Turkish crew Isik/Ozsenler in Fiat Grande Punto S2000 was right behind them with 4,2 seconds gap. Italians Fontana/Casazza finished this special stage with 2.8 seconds gap from the Poles but are still first in the overall ranking.

The eleventh stage was equally tence. The first three crews that were leading in the stage before were the fastest again.

The duel between the Croatian crew Sebalj/Klinc and the Slovenian crew Kaucic/Zorenc which started yesterday was interrupted. The Croats got off road for a moment and came back fast, but with 4 minutes 11,6 seconds gap from the leading team. They are now on the tenth place in the overall rankings.

Kaucic and Zorenc are now fourth and are 1,43 minutes behind the Italians. The croatian crew Crnojevic/Maretic in Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX are now on the fifth place in the overall rankings.


  • After the first three SS today

After the first three special stages today Italians Fontana/Casazza are still on the top. The Poles Solowow and Baran are behind them with 8,9 seconds gap and the Turks Isik and Ozsenler are third.

The fourth place belongs to Slovenian crew Kaucic/Zorenc at the moment and momentarally the best Croatian crew Crnojevic/Maretic are fifth in the overall rankings and are 3 minutes and 5,2 seconds behind the leading crew.

The Bulgarian team Donchev/Stoiko in Subaru Impreza Sti is on postion number six and the Italians Betti and Barone are seventh in the overall rankings.

Sebalj and Klinc are now nineth and tenth is also a Croatian team Galic/Zlatar.

Kaucic: Everything is OK, we have fixed the car, there are a few kilometers left. We just need to stay concetrated.

Fontana: Not so good today, we are not fast like yesterday. We have to change set up and try to be in front competition.

Sebalj: We made a different set up which was bed an that was also one of the resons we got off road on SS 11. We will go on now and enjoy the race.

Isik: It is better then yesterday. We are watching the others, not attacking, just watching.

Donchev : We are OK and the car is OK too. The stages are very beautiful and we are pleased.

Solowow: Nice weather, nice stages. We are trying to fight and it is not over yet.


  • After last three SS

The third day of 35 INA CROATIA DELTA RALLY finished with the fifteenth special stage. Fontana and Casazza were the fastest team in last three special stages and they are still nuber one in the overall rankings. After the SS Sljeme the Polish crew Solowow/ Baran is second with 1 minute 14,7 seconds gap. The Turkish team, Isik/Ozsenler is on the third place in the overall ranking. The Slovenian team Kaucic /Zorenc did a a good job at this years „Delta rally“ and are in the fourth place. The Croats Crnojevic and Maretic are now fifth in the overall rankings.

Last years winners, Sebalj and Klinc, were 58,2 seconds slower then Fontana and in the overall rankings that gap is 6 minutes and 2 seconds.
